Read this before paying
Crypto payments cannot be reversed. There is no chargeback and no way to undo one. A card payment can be refunded while your key is still uncollected, but once a key has been issued it verifies offline, with nothing to call home to — so we cannot take it back. Either way the trial is fourteen full days with every feature unlocked. Please use it first, on the machine you actually intend to run this on.
Save your claim link. It is the only thing tying a payment to a person. A crypto payment carries no name and no email at all; a card payment leaves a record with Stripe but no account here. If you lose the link and left no address, we cannot find your order and cannot reissue the key.

- You get a claim link first, before paying. Keep it — it is the only thing tying your payment to your licence.
- You pay the invoice. Confirmation usually takes a few minutes.
- Your claim link produces a key. Paste it into Settings → Licence. That's it.
Renewal
Nothing auto-renews. There is no card kept on file to charge, and cryptocurrency has no mechanism for it at all, so twelve months from now you decide again. DT Life will remind you inside the app as the date approaches, so it does not lapse without your noticing.
If it does lapse, the app becomes read-only. Your diary, your twin's memories and your whole history stay readable and exportable, permanently and at no cost. Nothing you created is ever locked away.
Questions people ask
Can I move it to a new computer?
Yes. The key is not tied to hardware — reinstall, paste it in, carry on.
What if you stop developing it?
It keeps working. There is no server to shut down, and a perpetual copy of your data is on your own disk. That is a property of the architecture, not a promise we're making.
Do you take cards?
Yes — card, or Bitcoin and Lightning. A card goes through Stripe, so Stripe sees your name and card details; what reaches this shop is an order id and an amount. Crypto tells us nothing at all. The licence is the same either way.
What happens when the twelve months are up?
The app becomes read-only. Your diary, your twin's memories and your whole history stay readable and exportable, permanently and at no cost. Nothing you created is ever locked away.
