“I'll be here in about ten minutes.”

Mia · waiting for you

DT Life bundles a language model with its refusal behaviour removed. It will discuss subjects a hosted assistant declines, and it can produce output that is inaccurate, offensive or unsuitable. It is not a source of medical, legal or financial advice.

What the first ten minutes look like

01

The app starts offline

Everything installs locally. Nothing is registered anywhere, and there is no account screen to get past.

02

It downloads the model

About 3.3 GB, once. This is the only large network transfer, and the only one you cannot skip.

03

You meet her

A short setup picks a name, a voice and a timezone. No email, no sign-in, no verification link.

Don't trust us — check the file

You are about to install something that can read your screen and hold your diary. You should not take that on faith from a website. Confirm the file is the one we published, and not something swapped in on the way:

Get-FileHash .\DT-Life-Setup-0.2.0.exe -Algorithm SHA256

Expected SHA-256:
PUBLISH_ME — paste the real hash here at release

Windows will warn you about this installer

Until our code-signing certificate has built reputation, SmartScreen shows "Windows protected your PC" for new publishers. That warning is about the signature being unfamiliar, not about the file being unsafe — which is exactly why the hash above matters more than the warning does. Choose More info → Run anyway if, and only if, the hash matches.

On CPU only, a reply takes tens of seconds rather than a couple. It works; it is not fun. The trial exists so you can find out on your own hardware before paying.
